Women Helping Women is specifically looking for gently used or new office apparel, shoes, hand bags and jewelry.  Our thanks to the many clients that have already donated wonderful items.  We will continue the donation drive through Feb 28, 2010.  Those who donate get a coupon good for up to $50 off a purchase at The Greater LA Woman.

The Greater LA Woman participated in Operation Easter Basket, an event coordinated by Justin Rudd, a Long Beach community organizer who does many great charity events in this area. Operation Easter basket was the gathering of donated Easter baskets that included essentials, toys and candy for needy kids in the local Long Beach community. This picture above was taken at one of the drop off points. There were Easter baskets in every room of this house, taking up every corner! What a great show of support from the community! We were happy we could participate!
